                                                           Yes, You Can

Great Thoughts Reduced To Practice Become Great Acts

Dear Friend,

If you believe in the idea expressed by one of the greatest thinkers of all time, Confucius-- "Learning without thought is labour lost"--you can change every way that leads to negativity.  Success does not come to anyone for free.  One has to think over a lot of things related to one's approach.  In fact having a positive approach or mental attitude is responsible for up to ninety percent of your success in your life.  In other words, if you want to succeed in your life, you do not have any choice except that of changing your attitude towards lie, if you feel it is not positive.  Never forget that you can change your attitude at any point of your life.  There is no specific moment for a change in attitude.; You are at liberty to choose your attitude the very instance you come to know that your negativity is going to hinder your progress; it is having a toll on your ability; it can lead you to failure.

But how can one determine whether one's attitude is negative or positive? The answer to the question is not very difficult.  One can easily realise whether one's attitude is serving ones well or not.  Now the next question arises--what is the right condition for a change in attitude?  Do not get caught in the trap of waiting for someone to give you permission before you try something new.  You ought to remember well that your attitude is the sum total of your thoughts you have been used to think after years of conditioned thinking.  Start looking for what you aspire to achieve in life.  Once you decide on your goal in life, your task becomes very easy.  It compels you to start making efforts in that direction.  All your energy gets concentrated in your mind and provides you with the strength to act positively.  All that you have to do is to dispel negative thoughts  from your mind and think day and night only about achieving your goal.  You have got to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative.  A great writer has already given the cue--"Each day the world is born anew, for him who takes it rightly."  Never lose track of the fact that you can achieve something worthwhile only when you think and act positively, leaving no room for negatively.

It has been said that to be outstanding, you have to stand out.  Never hold back from attempting just because you are concerned about what other people might think or say.  Sometimes you will have to go against the flow, swim against the tide in order to be successful.  There is no harm in attempting such a thing, if you think that you are doing the right thing.  Act with full conviction.  Sometimes your near and dear ones may not be right.  Sometimes a right act of yours might mean opposing your friends and family.  A right act is always right and is bound to get recognition over the time.  It is the combination of circumstances which makes a right act look like a wrong act.  Once the confusion ends, it not only delights everybody, but also inspires him/her to follow in your footsteps.

Never want any hand-outs from your competitors.  Neither you will get any in the playing field nor in the workplace.  It is no the way of the world.  When it comes to achieving something in life, you are supposed to think that you are all alone.  You have to remember that you are the one who have put the extra effort into whatever you want to achieve.

The great English writer, William Hazlitt, has rightly said--"Great thoughts reduced to practice become great acts."

Wishing you great success,

                                                                                             Yours sincerely,
