From the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, letter No.89510/ 2014/CBP3. dated 11.3.2015 ------- ORDER: In the Government Order first read above, the Government have sanctioned a sum of Rs.50 lakhs towards first instalment as interest subsidy to Cooperative Banks for the disbursement of interest free loans to the Differently abled persons during the year 2014-2015. 2. In order to encourage more number of Differently Abled persons to take up various economic activities and to avail the credit facilities from the Co-operative Banks for their better economic prospects, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies in his letter second read above has requested the Government to release the second instalment for the amount of Rs.50.00 lakhs as interest subsidy to Cooperative Banks for the disbursement of interest free loans to Differently Abled Persons during the year 2014-2015. 3. The Government have examined the above proposal of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies and accord sanction for the release of a sum of Rs.50.00 lakh (Rupees Fifty lakh only) towards second instalment as interest subsidy to Cooperative Banks for the disbursement of interest free loans to the Differently Abled persons during the year 2014-2015. 4. The expenditure sanctioned in paragraph-3 above shall be debited to the following Head of account:- “2425 - 00 - Co-operation - 107 - Assistance to Credit Co-operatives – SCHEMES IN THE TWELFTH FIVE YEAR PLAN - II - State Plan - KD - Interest free loans to Differently Abled Persons who availed loan from Co-operative Banks-11 - Subsidies - 02 General Subsidy”. The Registrar of Co-operative Societies is authorized to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in paragraph-3 above to the Managing Director, Tamill Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank, Chennai. 6. The Registrar of Cooperative Societies is also requested to send the details about the target achieved for the disbursement of loans to the differently abled persons during the year 2014-2015. 7.
