Lingaraj Temple, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India Lingaraj Temple is a very prominent hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva or Harihara as called in the local language. This beautiful temple is said to be built 1100 years ago however there are parts within the temple and outside that date back to the 6th century. ) The stone carvings of Gods and Goddesses are something to marvel about and the temple complex is divided into four parts i.e. the main temple, Bhoga Mandap, Natya Shala and Yagna Shala. This temple has a Swayambhu(Self Manifested) idol which is worshipped as Vishnu as well as Shiva and therefore a harmony
